Train to Martigny then change to bus to go across mountain or up then through tunnel into Aosta, Italy. Two beautiful hours in the bus! Or go to the top of the mountain pass where you can see St Bernard dogs and the monks who look after them. Check Swiss train tickets for visitors from abroad:
