Route notes

We booked this leg of our trip through our Kuala Lumpa Hostel and caught the bus from the main road outside the main bus station. There was a lot of hustling going on so I recon you could just turn up and sort something out on the day, although our bus was full with western travellers. The route from KL to the Cameron Highlands seems to be a well trodden one and it’s worth it just for the slow climb up the mountain road to the tea plantations. The bus dropped us at Tanah Rata which has seen better days but it was a short walk to find a hostel.
